Reverse DNS does not match SMTP Banner for Gmail, How most of servers accepted?

I am trying to setup email server for several months. I could not get it perfect. I just wondered why Gmail can reach all of my customer's servers even though Gmail didn't pass SMTP Banner test?
Is there any server that Gmail cannot reach?
Is there any server that we have to do whitelist for gmail.com?
