Lifetime Licence

Couldn't find an answer to my question.
Thinking about purchasing the lifetime license, I am paying a quarterly license fee now.
What are the steps to the new license? Surely I don't have to reinstall the whole program again?
Is this change done at DirectAdmin end?

If anyone has a discounted Lifetime License I would be interested in it.
